Last night I made everyone dinner! Yep, that's me. And I've had these pinned on Pinterest forever, so we gave em a shot. Everyone liked them, so check out the recipe!

diy :: glittered apple chargers.

I glittered my iPhone & iPad charger! Here's how: 

-be sure to tape over areas that are used to plug in {as above} 

-paint on a layer of mod podge; sprinkle on glitter; let dry 

-repeat for another layer of glitter 

-paint several layers of clear nail polish, until smooth

NYC! part ii :: newsies & carlo's.

After visiting the 9/11 memorial, we saw the Broadway show Newsies, and Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, New Jersey.

NYC! part i :: 9/11 memorial.

 On Saturday, I spent the day in New York City with my family! I had a great time, and am so fortunate that it was my ninth time in the city, and I saw my seventh Broadway show. Before we saw Newsies, we went to the 9/11 Memorial in downtown Manhattan. It was so neat to see!

highlights of my weekend.

I seriously cannot believe that Memorial Day weekend has come & gone! I had a great one though. Saturday we went shopping, & went to the circus (honestly, what beats the circus?!). And Monday we did the traditional parade, and service at the cemetery. After, a birthday party for one of the sweetest little boys I know, who I'm proud to call my cousin. (:
I hope everyone had a great weekend also. I also thank all of the men & women fighting to keep our country safe, let alone all the people who've died while in war.

my weekend (of hair).

So, this weekend was fun, but really crazy & flew! And, who decided next weekend is Memorial Day already? I guess time flies when you're having fun! (:
Anyhoo, my hair got a lot of stuff done to it - and the first time too! I don't think I've ever seen my hair in curls like this, even though it's somewhat natural. A friend put in hot rollers, and friend's mom curled it with an iron, and then my aunt did a ladder braid and "rocker chick mohawk" braid! Pretty cool stuff! :)

p.s. Prayers for all who were effected in the tornadoes today!

So today we celebrated my cousin Will's birthday party! I hope he enjoys being 12! I can't really remember him as a baby, but it doesn't feel like he'll be starting junior high in the fall! Love you! :)

outfit & prayers.

So, just my outfit today. I actually took the time to plan it last night so I could look some what together today. :)

On another thought, my prayers are going to Boston! It is such a shame to see what this world is coming to. I pray (well, I try my hardest to) for other kids my age, that they might find strength to be the bigger person and do what is right - not what the rest of the world is doing. There is so much violence, from just small bullying to bombs and mass shootings.
So this is my Bible verse for the week:

Rejoice in hope; be patient in suffering; and perservere in prayer.
-Romans 12:12
